The Woolpack Beefeater Grill

A busy restaurant, but staff very friendly and chatty. Great attitude, great service and excellent meal. Would go back again.

How disappointing! A lot of the mini was not available/ sold out. Poor choice from remainder of options. Not sure I would go back. Service was ok for a slow Monday evening service

The service was decent, despite being very busy. I ordered a double crunch chicken burger, but it tasted like Colgate toothpaste and the chicken fillet was only half cooked. I won't be returning any time soon.

During my stay at the Premier Inn next door, I dined at this Beefeater restaurant a few times. It met the high standards I have come to expect from this chain. The bar area was comfortable, and the staff serving both dinner and breakfast were very polite, providing great service overall. Voir le carte

Went to lunch with my family at the Woolpack and the service was exceptional!! We were not kept waiting very long and as soon as we sat down Sheila, who was our waitress, was unbelievable. So kind, helpful and warm. Really enthusiastic and always about to help with drinks etc. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic....as always. Me and my family went to the beefeater at Hothfield for a treat. As always, all the staff were very friendly and hospitable. I would especially like to mention Shelagh I'm very sorry if I spent your name wrong, Laura, and the lovely chefs who cooked our food. We always enjoy visiting this establishment. OK, you are not getting a fine dining experience, but we really enjoyed our meal at the Woolpack. Although a chain pub, the dishes we had were perfectly acceptable, good ingredients, nicely cooked and well presented. Obviously a good range of drinks and a pleasant atmosphere. What made the meal for us was our waitress who was friendly and personable with the ability to build up a strong rapport with clients. (Can't remember her name but hubby drives for Wrens). Whitbread, she is an asset that you should treasure and give a pay rise. Voir le carte
