"It's a really nice establishment, the benches and tables outside are nice but having it on gravel as opposed to a flat surface makes it a bit wobbly. I was a little disappointed with the food. There was much for gluten free eaters and I opted for. Beef burger that was very over done. The drinks menu on the app is slightly confusing, I wanted a rum and coke but the options were not easy to understand. Ambience is great, music choice was awesome. My partner is a big IPA drinker and this place we thought would be ideal for him untill it ran out. Nice to try new places but not sure if I'll go back."

Great Sunday lunch, good food, really friendly staff. The children played at the kids activity table which is such a good idea, they made masks and birds and were occupied totally while the adults had a chance to chat. Will definitely go again.

Thought this was a gastropub from the photos and previous reviews. Visited in early June during covid. It’s more of a burger in a basket, stripped back decor set up. Seems popular with families. Friendly staff but overpriced for what’s on offer Voir le carte

Maybe the food is not the most exciting around, but they serve classic comfort food that is well cooked and very very tasty, good portions. What you can't beat is the great service: nice, friendly, nothing is too much, child friendly and dog friendly, great atmosphere. Will definitely recommend

We had a lovely time with our toddler at the Woodman. We were on the sofa table at the back of the garden which was perfect for us. We were away from the road and our toddler could happily potter around the table. A highchair was available and there was plenty of shade. The food selection was mostly burgers, hot dogs and wings. The arancini and mozzarella sticks were delicious.
