Sorry but 4 pounds for a cold takeaway scone without jam and cream is not reasonable.

WOW ! The food here is excellent . Simple, refined menu with delicious food and great portion sizes. Well worth a visit !

I first started visiting this lovely little gem in Keswick almost 30 years ago. It's changed a bit, but not lost any of its charm. Really nice coffee and toasted teacake, and the cakes looked fabulous.

This was our first visit, and the food was really tasty. We had sandwiches, milkshakes, and strawberry lemonade. We also managed a piece of homemade Victoria sponge, which was delicious. Very cozy inside. Worth a visit. Voir le carte

A good choice of gluten free alternatives on the menu. Gluten free crepes are cooked on the same equipment as those with gluten but we were advised it was thoroughly cleaned before preparing a GF crepe and have had no adverse reaction.

This eatery is larger inside than it appears from the exterior as ug is narrow but quite long. We stepped in for a light snack and purchased some delicious cakes and coffee. It could accommodate a vegan diet and the portions of cake we received were large and well presented. It's dog friendly and the toilets were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Pretty slow from entering to getting served. We have been a few times and told to wait at table but then not got served for more than 15 mins so had to chase waitresses of which there were around 5/6 just milling around the coffee machines chatting. And price of coffee and drinks very expensive, 4.55 for a coffee seems a lot even if high season, and £4.50 for a baby chino is the most expensive I have seen for some hot milk. Didn’t help that the americano was only half full in the mug too. Guessing they would rather you come just to eat because coffee is just as nice and cheaper in other places.
