Food excellent. Had one glass of wine and was charged £10.75!!! Very expensive. Quite noisy and it was early so no where near full.

Return visit after over 40 years. In those days the restaurant was extraordinarily good, would have deserved a Michelin star. Now it’s a little less formal but still very good. Set menu is excellent value for money. Voir le carte

On Sunday at 1:35 PM, we were fortunate enough to get a table on the bar side. Despite being very busy, we were promptly attended to by lovely staff. I ordered the Sunday lunch with roast beef, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a generous serving of vegetables and delicious Yorkshire pudding.

First visit to The White Lion for a long time, the food was delicious everyone had something different and we all said how lovely it was, as a group we weren’t rushed in either ordering or eating our meals, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is good value for money. The staff were really pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be visiting again and soon.
