"Living locally and never visited the White Hart before we thought we would give it a try. We saw it was under new management as it seems to have had a chequered past with various managers. Well we were pleasantly surprised pub is great with plenty of space both indoors and out lots with ample parking. Drinks are very reasonable with a good selection but the food was great. Both my wife and I had rump steak which was cooked perfectly, came with all the trimmings which was great. Another customer came in and picked up pizzas which you can takeaway. Will certainly return and recommend, waiting for the Sunday roast to be on the menu, if as good as the steak then we will return with friends/family keep up the good work!!"

Popped in at Sunday lunchtime to find two cars full of people trying to gain access, but place appeared closed with drawn curtains and no sign of life. Can't really post a review, maybe there had been an emergency to deal with. Hope to return soon. Voir le carte

Let's start with the negative 1st. Do not go hungry its not pub grub. The food was well presented and fabulousy cooked. The ambiance was great, a piano playing in the corner. Staff and service was 1st class, nothing to much trouble. One of the nicest evening's my wife and I have had in a long time. Thank you.

The restaurant is very clean and fresh, with a slightly clinical atmosphere. It is family and dog-friendly, leaning more towards a restaurant than a pub. It seems that there have been some unfortunate fire incidents in recent years, which may have prompted a change in the overall vibe of the place. We ordered the fish and chips, which were delicious but the portions were a bit small. The service was excellent.

What a great pub! We were staying nearby and ate there twice. The food was excellent, delicious chicken dish and a very good steak. The second night we had the butternut squash and spinach galette and homemade burger which was very tasty. Special mention to Carrie, such an enthusiastic person, who is a brilliant ambassador for the pub. Very Covid safe and we really appreciated our evenings there. Good luck with your new venture. Twenty years ago, my partner asked my father for my hand in marriage in this beer garden. Unfortunately, we recently lost my father, making it a bittersweet experience to return to this beautiful place with our daughter. The staff was fantastic, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the place itself was simply stunning. The transformation made by the new owners is truly impressive. We will definitely be returning for another visit next time we are in town.

When we arrived the room we get welcome drink in the fridge and was free coffee or tea on the table. In the room fresh smell everything was very clean there were clean towels and new slippers in the room which we did not expect !! And the room available one big smart led tv ! The bathroom it's absolutely clean and available hair dryer! The best moment of our trip the hot tub was the best thing after a long tiring day! The restaurant is cozy elegant the food was fresh and delicious and the serving was maximally good and absolutely clean!! Thank you very much for everything and of course we will return. Recommend to everyone!
