"I ordered fish and chips. The plate arrived but no chips in sight so I initially assumed they would be arriving in a separate dish. Then I realised that the fish was sitting on top of the chips. Having removed the fish there were a grand total of 9 chips, chunky but the longest was no more than two inches long and 3 of the 9 were doing a good impression of parmentiers! It also came with a pot of crushed peas and a similar sized pot full of tartare sauce I 'm pretty sure that in volume there was more tartare sauce than chips. The fish was delicious but the meal was ruined by the trendy presentation."

Excellent service and food 2 observations not complaints 1 felt a bit rushed 2 salt pot was dirty , cleaned it myself But apart from that stunning

Popped in here for a tea when passing and was made very welcome and enjoyed the surroundings and lovely garden, will certainly pop back for food as seemed good value

Nothing positive to say they do their best but it is well below the standard that the external presentation suggests! Menu very limited, food quality very poor but the prices reflect the standard!

Booked this as Travel lodge was too expensive this time of year . So glad we did lovely hostess Hone is the nucleus of this hotel nothing is too much trouble for her . Very comfortable room and bed slept well the food was amazing...

Excellent stay. Come to visit our daughter at RAF Cranwell which is about 10 minutes away. Fantastic, the owners are lovely and cannot help you enough. The place is spotless. Lovely food. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to return in July....

Visited on a busy Thursday night. The waiting staff were excellent. A really good choice on the menu. The food was really imaginative and well prepared. We both really enjoyed the 3 courses and the wine list gave us a good selection to go with our food. A lovely atmosphere and some brilliant food.

Cannot recommend the Whichcote Arms highly enough. Easily the best rump beef I have ever eaten! Charming staff, light and spacious dining room, and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone loved their meals and the service was extremely efficient (which even satisfied my highly demanding 12 year old). It feels like it has been recently redecorated and done so beautifully. We will definitely be back!!
