"I have been to Cha-ty several times with friends, but recently took my husband for his first visit. Today, I feel incredibly lucky to have tried their mocha green tea chocolate cake after brunch—it tastes heavenly! I love this place not only for its authentic Japanese cuisine, but also for its simplicity and excellent quality in presentation. In addition to their delicious green tea, I must also mention that their coffee is probably the best in town. The prices are reasonable and the restroom is amazing—it reminds me of Japan, which I miss dearly from my previous trip there."

"A lovely restaurant! This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. I had the Christmas menu, which offered three courses for £25 (if I remember correctly). Every choice was absolutely delicious, and my entire party enjoyed their meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is really important. Overall, it was a wonderful evening."

"We ordered two breakfasts, but one was incorrect upon arrival. Despite this, we were willing to accept both, but unfortunately one was dropped on the floor. Only one breakfast was given to us, without any apology or acknowledgment of the missing one. After a few minutes, the waitress returned to ask for our egg preferences for the second breakfast and apologized for the mishap. It then took about 30 minutes for the second breakfast to be served. The waitress did apologize again during this time and even offered us a cake for the inconvenience. However, after waiting an additional 30 minutes since the first breakfast arrived, we had to leave as we had other commitments for the day. When we inquired about a refund, the second breakfast was finally ready, but due to the timing, it had to be packed in a takeaway box. Despite this, we found that the three front-of-house waitresses were all pleasant and polite."

"Must have been a bad day there?!? Took a long time to come, card machine playing up, flies I saw were walking over the quiches in the counter. It was a hot day, but they can still be covered up like other places do. Sorry, but that wasn 't Pad Thai! More like a Welsh equivalent and call it Bad Dai Firstly used the wrong noodles, more like cut up very soft spaghetti, not much of it too. A very few stems of beansprout, think a very tiny bit of tomato ketchup cooked in to give it an Asian taste?!?! Then most of it was a stir fry veg with no taste. The peanuts are dried, crunched and added to the top later, but this dish had full stir fried in much softer (old? peanuts thrown in when cooking. I don 't think this person has had pad thai before to see how wrong it is. I had to leave it, as it just wasn 't nice. Friendly enough staff at the till though, so I 'll give another star. For the eggs on fried potato, fried potato was ok, but probably upgrade the eggs as they were bland. Thought I had COVID for one minute for lack of taste, but no, popped in for something to eat a few doors away. If the chef reads this, DO NOT TAKE IT AS BAD, take it as constructive criticism!!! Go try Pad Thai other places, and ask them what they do. They won 't mind... Again, I 'm sorry as I cannot go back after that visit, but I always wish any business luck for the future, as I do realize it is hard."
