"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. Our first impressions were not great - we arrived at 2 o'clock and inquired about checking into our room. We were told check-in wasn't until 3 o'clock, but the receptionist offered to let us pay a fee to receive the key early. We explained we had a wedding to prepare for that evening. Despite this, the receptionist insisted we come back closer to check-in time. At 2:55, I returned to the reception where there were two couples ahead of me. The receptionist took our names and called housekeeping to see if our rooms were ready - unfortunately, they were not. With only 5 minutes until check-in time, I expected the rooms to be prepared, especially considering the early check-out time of 11 o'clock. Despite the wait, the receptionist assured us the rooms would be ready in 5 minutes. Exactly at 3 o'clock, like clockwork, we were finally allowed to check in. The room was mostly clean, although the toilet was not up to standard. I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness given the amount of time they had to prepare. On a positive note, the rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Another receptionist during our visit was much more polite. I have stayed in many hotels for both business and leisure purposes, and have never encountered such a strict check-in policy."

What a lovely spot for relaxation and tranquility. The surroundings and terrain are beautiful, with a stunning building and interior. The bed is so comfortable, I fell asleep instantly.

It has been three years since I last dined at this restaurant. The staff is always very friendly, making it a pleasure to return. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent.

Quite simply this hotel is top notch, rooms are modern, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the place is set in nice surroundings and overall I'd give 10/10 without hesitation.

This restaurant is like a little slice of heaven. It has a fabulous location with a lovely atmosphere, you can't go wrong dining here. It's just minutes away from many attractions. The rooms are top-notch, the service is excellent, and the location couldn't be better. This hotel is perfect for a romantic and quiet getaway.

After a really long day we finally arrived at just shy of 11pm. Despite the late hour every single member of staff could not have done more for us.They were friendly and a credit to the hotel. We’d definitely stay again just for the way we were treated.That said we were also impressed how clean and comfortable our room was.We couldn’t fault the place or it’s amazing staff

A stunning country hotel with lovely views and location. There are bunnies hopping about the grounds and birds tweeting away. Absolutely idyllic. It is a superb venue for weddings. There were minor issues with poorly trained staff but I am sure this will be rectified. Meals are lovely, but we had the same menu every night so very limited choice after a couple of days. Parking is free and plentiful. The bar is well stocked, but the Indian gentleman serving was unaware of the ingredients for a Pimms cocktail. This was related to me by another resident.
