"Booked catering for 20 for our Granddaughter 's party. Paid in full at the time of booking and agreed a list of what was being supplied. This was written in their diary on the date booked. We were not offered, or sent a copy of this list. We agreed to pick up food as they couldn 't deliver because of other bookings that day. On the day of collection there was no popcorn, bacon turnovers, drinks and the chicken nuggets had been substituted with chicken strips and some strange chicken rings. The guy on the counter said the boss hadn 't told him about the missing items hence they weren 't there. On returning the 'trays ' today the boss was sat outside chatting to someone. 'Everything okay ' she asked. Not really I answered and then went on to explain. She admitted the missing items were her fault but then went on to become extremely rude about the fact that we had the 'cheek to complain '. Maybe this boss needs to remember that customers pay her wages! As far as she was concerned we were the problem. She eventually gave us a refund of £10 to get rid of us whilst complaining all the time about how petty we were. My advice would be avoid unless you want to be verbally abused if you dear to complain"

Me and my friend met for the first time in ages. Great service and great food. Nice and spaced out for social distancing. Food was spot as always and staff friendly.

The “owner” of the diner had long acrylic nails which I did not think was very hygienic also she was bad mouthing another business which I did not think was very professional.

We had a lovely lunch on Saturday, we were late as well at 13.55 but they stayed open for us. Very good value, very friendly, excellent service, definitely go again and recommend

This cafe used to be our favourite stopping off point on our way to Suffolk. Stopped today ordered bacon sandwiches. The cheap bread was stale and dry. Served with a side salad? No cutlery or napkins. Had a totally different feel to tge place. Won't be calling again.

The breakfast was affordable and basic. However, the experience was negatively impacted by the poor environment. The restaurant appeared dirty, outdated, and in need of renovation. It seemed like the whole family, including the owners, were present, with children running around unsupervised and adults swearing.

After living in Sutton Ridge for many years, I finally decided to visit the diner that I had always wanted to try. I brought my son along and we both thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast! The value for money was excellent and the service was fantastic. To top it off, they even prepared a breakfast to go for my wife who was working from home. We will definitely be returning.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and it definitely won't be my last. The food was excellent, the presentation was superb, and I couldn't find any faults. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other places where I've paid a lot more for much worse food. The chef is a true asset to this establishment, and I've heard that the Sunday roast is outstanding, so I will definitely be returning.

We arrived at the cafe after a tiring walk with our puppy, only to find out they had just closed up and were cleaning down. We asked if there was anywhere else they could recommend as we were desperate for a cuppa, and a rest for our little pup, they kindly ushered us in and said they could fit us in for tea and cake. Despite clearing up from a long day and a big afternoon tea party, they cleaned down a table for us, fetched a big bowl of water for the dog and produced a gorgeous teapot and cups and some amazing slabs of homemade cake (chocolate for the boy, coconut raspberry for me).
