beautiful country pub. great food and service. the staff was friendly and friendly. we had steak (perfect cooked) chili and burger. all excellent. highly recommended.

We had a great two night stay and the food was fantastic. The managers and staff are all really lovely and helpful. Good variety to choose from on the menu (recommend to try their burgers) with a really nice breakfast included with our booking. Lovely little find !! Thanks for having us

We ordered a breakfast ciabatta with extra crispy bacon, tea, and a latte. Unfortunately, what we received was undercooked sausages, greasy bacon, and an overcooked fried egg. We were disappointed by the quality of the food and left the pub almost without eating anything, despite spending £24. We recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

I have had a couple of meals here in the last few weeks since the new management arrived and all visits have been excellent, the food is absolutely amazing and the service is 5*. There is also a Great choice of wines! And everything is exceptional value for money! So glad ive found this fabulous place to come too, and I can’t wait to be a regular visitor! We were warmly welcomed by the owner when we entered the restaurant. Originally, we just planned to have a quick drink but ended up staying for dinner as well. The food was freshly made, with delicious vegetables and a generous amount of gravy served with a flavorful beef pie. The Fish and Chips Friday deal was excellent, with generous portions and a reasonable price. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant time and time again!

Really a nice place to stay!!! The landlord was great and everyone was super friendly. The room where we stayed was the Westminster. A nice big room (max 4 persons and it has everything you need even a hairdryer and an iron. The shower needs a little bit of the time to warm up because the warm water needs to be pumped upstairs. But when it was warm it was nice and steamy hot! The bedding smelled nice and was clean. The free breakfast was nice with fruits, small croissants, cereal, nice bread to toast, butter and jam.
