"This is one of the nicer Spoons. Although it was a Tuesday evening, it was relatively busy but service at the bar and the food was quick. Good choice of ales and had 2 dark ales which you should expect during winter. Food was palatable with the only gripe being the cheesy chips which was a bowl of chips with a sprinkle of grated cheese on top. After the top layer, it was a standard bowl of chips. I will be in Hull a few times each month and will definitely be dining here again."

Cheap, cheerful and clean. Can ask for more. Staff were friendly and served quickly all night. Didn't have anything to eat but others around us did and it smells lovely.
