Great country pub, stopped off when doing the Gavin Stacey tour. It was lovely pit stop for the 30 mins enjoy strongbow cider, which I never had before. Anyways I enjoyed it lovely scenery and we saw a few horses as well, which was great.

Popped in here after a visit to Barry Island and really enjoyed it overall. Staff were very accommodating depsite joy booking. Food was really good, my steak was average though tbh, but the rest was great. My 6 year old loved the soft play and outdoor park! We'd definitely returned. Voir le carte

My partner surprised me for Valentine's Day by booking a dinner and a room. The meal was wonderful, and the staff were delightful, always accommodating. The room was lovely, and it was a joy to wake up to a cooked breakfast and flowers. I must say everything was fantastic, and we can’t wait to return.

Fifteen of us gathered for a birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. All the dishes were served at the same time, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of choices that catered to everyone's tastes. Our waitress was lovely and attentive, making sure nothing was too much trouble. There’s also a great soft play area next door for the kids, which is a huge bonus. In the summer, you can enjoy drinks in the outdoor pods. This place is definitely one to visit again!

In the main restaurant, there’s a good amount of seating available. The bar boasts a wide selection of drinks, including a coffee machine and flavored syrups. The menu offers a great variety of pub classics, steaks, and burgers; I particularly enjoyed the T-bone steak, which was fantastic. The children’s menu also provides a nice selection. The food we had on both visits was really high-quality, and the service was outstanding—truly five-star. We loved it so much that we decided to book our daughter’s second birthday party there! I had a fantastic night in July for the Coldplay concert in Cardiff. This place is truly a hidden gem. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even went above and beyond by driving us to the train station when our taxi was late. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal upon arrival and had a few drinks in the lovely bar. The rooms were clean, and the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in away from home. The atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone was extremely friendly. I would definitely go back and stay there again without hesitation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This pub has now had a new kids play area and it's amazing. They have also got an indoor play area too that is amazing. 8 don't drink and don't have any kids but i love going to this pub as my dog is welcome and the atmosphere is lovely. Food is best pub food I have ever had. Owner never fails to appear just to say hello and to thank you for returning. He's such a genuine nice bloke. The pub it only place I go when I want to take 5 minutes away from busy cardiff city. Its location is beautiful and the views from garden are great. The building is out of this world and so clean. I love this pub and will be looking faward to my next visit... Best pub in South Wales!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dining and entertaining children. The play area allows you to enjoy your meal while keeping an eye on the kids, although sitting in the restaurant section is also quite pleasant. The food is good but tends to be on the pricier side. The system for ordering food and playtime is a bit odd; for instance, the kids aren't interested in squash or ice cream, yet we still have to pay for those items. Additionally, when upgrading from regular chips to sweet potato fries, the full extra charge of £3.50 applies instead of just a small increase. However, my grandchildren absolutely love coming here, so the price feels reasonable for the joy they experience. Voir le carte
