"We had lunch here yesterday after a walk. I had a lovely roast and hubbie had the swordfish special, which he said was very good. His was washed down by a couple of very well kept pints. The star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding, which was very light and delicious. This is a great find dog friendly too. We will hopefully be back next time we’re in the area."

classic, upscale pub/restaurant in beautiful village turvey. great menu with special sunday roasts. great service, pleasant ambiente, all they could ask when families collect. Beverage menu is also extensive, a wonderful place for these special occasions.

We stayed here Saturday 24th June after attending a family event locally during the day. We had the lovely Chequers room, we ate Saturday evening and the food was fabulous ...Camenburgh starter then the Pork Ribs and the Minted Lamb for main course could fit a sweet in though as we were full. The Breakfast Sunday morning was excellent
