Food was excellent, coffee was hot and strong and the price was right. Delightful waitress and sitting outside topped it of nicely.

Very nice little cafe. it was clearly well used by locals but still welcoming to visitors. Tasty afternoon tea. Good value. Helpful staff.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly, the food is freshly made and there is a great variety of choices. The afternoon tea was delicious with a fantastic selection. I would highly recommend this charming tea room.

We stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting our brother-in-law and were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! Despite being quite busy, the service was friendly, the dishes were beautifully presented, and the food was all delicious. The tempting assortment of cakes was a bonus. Great value for the quality of the experience.

Walked into this cafe on a Tuesday afternoon only to be greeted at the door by a rude lady who informed us they shut at 3pm, the time was 2.45! But it was made very clear we were not welcome. Don’t worry we took our business across the road to ‘The Hub’ for a warm welcome, great coffee and cake. What a difference obviously they want to succeed and appreciate the business! Voir le carte

We celebrate a70th birthday here. It was amazing, they went all out. Made beautiful glutton free cakes just to accommodate our different intolerance. The afternoon tea was the best I've ever had. Beautiful cakes, lovely sandwiches, all hand made. All serviced on lovely china cake trays with bone china tea service. I would highly recommend if your looking for a great afternoon tea experience, this is the place to be.

Visited this cafe with 2 friends and their little ones. Cake hot chocolate were nice and staff friendly happy to accommodate our children in the small space! My only struggle was the glass table top. With a baby who loves to bang anything she can grab hold of on a surface it was slightly ear splitting. Sounds silly but as a parent I’m always conscious of my children making too much noise and disturbing others. The menu looked delicious so maybe I will return without the children

My son and I had a short amount of time for lunch before I needed to catch a train, so I checked with the waitress who assured me it would be no problem. She kept her promise! We sat outside and I ordered a jacket potato while my son had a panini, both of which were delicious and came with a fresh salad garnish. The portions were very generous, in fact, I ended up sharing some of my tuna with my son! We would have loved to stay for dessert, but we were short on time. Luckily, the waitress kindly offered to pack up our choice of cake for us to take with us. My carrot cake was huge and came in a box with a fork and napkin.
