The Taste Cafe - Carte

One of the best cafes I have been to locally. Always good food and service, friendly, clean and good vegetarian choices

Just been for breakfast at Taste, took 10/15 mins for drinks to come out, and then another 30+ mins for our breakfasts.

When this cafe opened it was lovely...sorry but it leaves a lot to be desired now. Staff not interested..tables not cleared..menus scruffy and water marked. no salad dressing (oil/vinegar) and omelette albeit it fluffy, was tasting of baking powder. Wouldn't go again.

Told to find a seat when I walked in and then Totally ignored Say there waiting for 15 minutes why staff walked passed not even acknowledging me First time here last time Walked out and stood in door entrance and my exit was not even acknowledged Not the way to run a service industry

We have just left this lovely cafe. Despite an extended delay on food, the baguettes and paninis were delicious and extremely good value. The cakes were also fresh and tasty! Our inconvenience was compensated for and the staff couldn’t have been more apologetic about our wait time. We would definitely recommend this cafe. Voir le carte

The cafe that we love was packed so we thought we would try here. Never again. Walked in to a member of staff saying they were very busy yesterday so were still catching up on the washing up so there were no teaspoons. Some tables were left with dirty plates on. I asked for poached egg on toast. Apparently they only do scrambled or fried. How can a cafe offering breakfast not do poached eggs? We won't be back.

Beautiful bacon sandwich, I had mine made on toast, the staff are wonderful and accommodating not to mention lovely, friendly and efficient. My latte was just the way I like it, nice and hot. It’s a big thumbs up from my niece too who loved her luxury hot chocolate and bacon sandwich. Thank you from us and see you again soon. Oh, and if you love cake, get yourself down there for amazing fluffy and light home made cakes.

Oh what a disappointment, been coming to taste for years use to be good. Tried for the first time since summer hols, what a drop in standards. less than half full, staff stood round chatting. No menus on tables, dirty tables, even cleared tables not wiped down, rubbish left on floor. Long wait for drinks, longer wait for food 18mins for 2 panini's. Very disappointing panini's lower quality ingredients than previous but more expensive. Staff were disinterested in the dirty napkin and cutlery they brought. Service was functional not friendly as before. Tables and mess around us still not cleaned when we left. Toilets we're not being checked as they had run out of toilet paper. Really disappoin...
