Wow!! Absolutely stunning Xmas dinner. Perfect Turkey and the trimmings were spot on. Lovely evening and the waitress was personal and attentive. Lovely meal and so reasonable for the quality.

What a nice place great venue came here for a family meal great wholesome food and great service very friendly. We were there on a grim rainy day however we all commented that it looked great for a sunny day

Rang in advance to book our camper on the carpark overnight, spoke to a very friendly lady. Good beer, great food, friendly staff. Just a little expensive, but its a sign of the times. A very quiet overnight stay. Would return.

We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived here last night, which is always a good start. Our absolutely delicious food was served quickly and the portions were generous. All in all, couldn’t have wanted better and we will be back!

The room was dirty, with stains on the bedding and mould in the bathroom. All of the rooms are directly under the bar/restaurant, which means they are very noisy and the only window looks into the communal corridor, causing no view, no privacy and a lack of natural light.

Warm, welcoming and professional, all staff were helpful and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean, we found the beds very comfy. Good size bathroom with powerful shower. WiFi was easy to connect to and reliable. Large carpark, outdoor seating and grassy area for children to play. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble.

Really pleased to be allowed access to room early as we arrived early for local wedding. Also that they found a dog- friendly room even though we hadn’t booked one with a doggy goody box which was a lovely touch Very clean and comfortable room Loved the comfy bed. The owners and their team were all super friendly and professional. Superb breakfast. We will definitely return

We’ve stayed at the Sycamore a few times and have so say it’s so lovely and we are always made welcome, the rooms are nicely decorated and furnished, nice comfy bed for a great nights sleep, fabulous coffee in the morning, exceptionally good quality tea and coffee! The food here is delicious and i can definitely recommend an evening meal here, after a days hiking you’ll need a good meal!, I would definitely recommend the breakfast.. I think it’s the best breakfast we’ve ever had!! Darren and Sammy and their staff really do make sure you have a very comfortable stay, with exceptional quality and variety of food and drinks, Lovely cosy comfy pub, we will definitely be back.

This was a fantastic short break, set in beautiful surroundings, a very good sized car park, lots of outside seating, a large area down near the car park, with plenty of bench seating/tables. A large area where children can play ball games(bring your own ball? i didn't ask if they had any). The hosts Sammy and Daz were truly welcoming and friendly, and managed all so well. I absolutely loved the food got slightly addicted to the chunky chips and fishcakes! delicious. All of the staff were kind pleasant and attentive without being overly intrusive. The accommodation was lovely, my room had a double bed and i could look out of the window whilst sitting comfortably in my bed with a cup of tea,...
