Spacious British pub with a lovely outdoor seating area, welcoming staff, and delicious traditional pub food. Enjoyed a pleasant few hours in the sunshine.

I recently discovered this restaurant while in Lewes and decided to try it out. I had the best lamb I've ever tasted and the staff, especially Eleanor, were fantastic. Can't wait to come back for another meal!

had a really nice meal. I am a carnivore and nackenby is vegetarian. we both had a good meal. the personal is friendly and it seems that many native and return diners. too full for a pudding the meals are so satisfying.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, simply delicious! The staff were friendly and pleasant, making our experience really enjoyable. The average price per person ranged from £20 to £30. I would rate the food and service a perfect 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a solid 4. I would highly recommend trying the Chicken Burger and Salad.

Friendly service and very nice food, brought to your table. The kebabs are amazing and the chips are nice thin crunchy ones (not the huge hand cut slabs that are an alarming trend in some pubs). The steak is great too. There is more than one interesting bar area to dine in, and a good beer garden out the back. We return to the Swan every 2 or 3 weeks for a nice change from our local pubs and restaurants. Be patient when they are busy because good food takes time. Highly recommended.

We originally planned to have Sunday lunch at our first choice restaurant, but it was full so the waitress directed us to this pub. We had never been here before, but it turned out to be a great find! We were lucky to get a small table with stools, as the pub was quite spacious. It is recommended to book a table for Sunday lunch as it gets busy - many customers who arrived after us were only offered outdoor seating with heaters. I ordered the beef and my partner had the lamb. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. To our surprise, we also received a side of cauliflower cheese, which was a pleasant addition.
