Great place for Sunday lunch. Good portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Staff friendly and efficient. Added bonus is it's dog friendly. I would book though as it gets busy.

Excellent pub we visited twice whilst staying up here on our short break, staff wonderful and helpful food was excellent, we had Sunday lunch which was so filling, excellent value will definitely visit again and very dog friendly....

We visit Sinnington at least two weeks every year and always eat here about three times a week we look forward to our meals as they never disappoint. The food is good quality and not overpriced. The staff are very helpful and friendly . Voir le carte

Amazing food. We had beef burger, chicken burger and steak pie. Big portions, really good value for money. Dessert portions are huge and they're all £5.50. Homemade cheesecake was incredible. Staff really friendly, excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

On recommendation we have been twice for Sunday lunch and the food is excellent as is the service, we have earmarked the sun inn for regular visits and will be trying pie night fish and chip night and the rest of the evening menu over the coming months, how brilliant to find this standard of home cooked food at affordable prices, a big thumbs up from us.

Just had the takeaway Sunday lunch: proper Yorkshire portion at a proper Yorkshire price, with home cooked Yorkshire puddings. Unbeatable at £8.95. Just warming the crumble up now! Highly recommended for a good value, good quality pub dinner make sure you book if you want to eat in. Traditional family run country pub, serving surrounding communities, long may it prosper. We were staying locally with our two dogs so we used their takeaway service. The food and the portion sizes were very good. We especially enjoyed the steak and mushroom pie served with mash and peas on the Tuesday pie night, the pastry was nice and filled with lots of tender steak and even came with extra gravy. We only wish we lived closer so we could have more of your lovely meals.

Two travellers called in on spec for some food to eat , Emma was able to find us a table by the TV . She did us proud on two occasions, as this Pub is very popular with the locals always busy while we were there . We were staying in Marton nearby, so this was the nearest Pub in Normanby , Sinnington . We will happily call again when we are in Ryedale book in advance where possible....

Been here about 5 times over the past year as the food is fabulous but unfortunately, the service lets it down. The first time we went in all was good, the second time we waited a long time for the menu and then a server asked us if we wanted a sweet before we’d had our mains, we’d waited that long. The third time we went in I had booked for Sunday and had been put in the diary for Monday, but they managed to fit us in. The fourth time, thankfully all was good so we went back for a fifth time and waited 55 minutes for a starter to arrive.
