Great food and a lovely atmosphere perfect after a long walk on the beach. Steak and Ale pie followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding were both excellent.

I received a very friendly welcome on a Monday afternoon in November at this restaurant. They are open 364 days a year and offer delicious pub food and well-maintained real ales.

This restaurant is fantastic for dining and drinking. We visited on a rainy afternoon and had delicious starters of mussels and prawns, followed by main courses of moules frites and a jacket potato with prawns. Absolutely fantastic! Voir le carte

A group of ten people and a friendly dog dined at this restaurant on Thursday night. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff who went above and beyond for us. We particularly enjoyed the lamb burger and gammon dishes. We will definitely return in the future.

Tasty home cooked well priced delicious food presented well from attentive happy staff! Well done at making us all feel welcome most unlike the large commercial eateries . Fish and chips are to die for ! Landlord lovely guy that clearly cares that his customers and staff are happy !

A lovely, country, dog friendly pub with friendly staff and lots of atmosphere. We visited Easter week and so had to book for food but it was worth waiting for delicious, well sized portions at a reasonable price. On other days we just popped in after walking the dog for a drink and some warm scratchings just the job! Would definitely recommend. Voir le carte

This takes some beating The service was slow and very un friendly. The fact that english was not spoken at the bar by some staff was very off putting. The food was terrible and cold !! We were not asked if the food was ok so paid and left. How the place is fully booked must be down to the fact it’s the only pub in the area. Sorry guys but one to avoid at all costs! If you do go it’s not cheap either .

I'll start by saying the food here is lovely. I could eat it again. The young waiters/waitresses here are a credit to this venue Polite and attentive. The pub looks nice from inside and out it's a real old authentic British pub. The environment however... Was a complete circus. There were some insufferable, rude and pretentious customers with no regard for personal space who won't move to let you through and keep nudging you whilst seated. I'm a dog lover and appreciate a dog friendly venue, but there were 2 dogs off their leads in the pub which were roaming free, unsupervised, climbing all over furniture and trying to get to customers' food off the table. That what was on Fast book the cheapest steak night in the area and so off we popped last night (5th Dec 22) to try out this absolute bargain of meal deal. Had a livener to start and then ordered 2 of these beasts am sure they were more than 8oz, cooked medium rare, they arrived with half a tomato, pan fried mushrooms, home made chips, a lovely salad with a hint of balsamic vinegar. We also ordered one side order of onion rings and one order of blue cheese dressing. WOW the most tender rump steak I have eaten for ages, with that griddled caramelized BBQ flavour that is to die for. A bowl full of onion rings and a lovely creamy blue cheese sauce.
