Lovely friendly pub with great food. Had an issue with our all4one voucher but the manager came over and sorted for us. Would recommend.

The pub is lovely.. massive and old school in many ways. The food is inexpensive and the portions massive. Lovely place to come on a lunch time. I will have to try and pop in one evening. There are tvs for news and sport.. plus quiz nights. A great pub experience.

Staff were lovely. Food reasonably priced and had a lovely lunch. I was looking for a healthy option and chose grilled chicken breast. Didn't have to wait long and friendly service. Took a photo but husband was already devouring his fish finger sandwich Oh and nice ales too so will definitely be back.... Voir le carte

Sunday brunch was fab. Chef was very obliging with my changes to the menu and provided a lovely breakfast. The bacon was plentiful and good quality, lovely runny egg, tasty mushroom, fresh tomato and beans. Only minor grumble is that toast could have been more toasted. Otherwise all was great. I'll definitely return.

Really really good pub great for service never had a problem regarding service food is really good in terms of quality and taste it can sometimes be a bit underwhelming at times regarding quantity however at the price point it is it's fairly reasonable drinks are pretty standard however they're not extortionate Overall, if I could I would rate it 4.5 is I could but that's not an option with google ratings

Food is actually amazing value, set menus are a real saver. Sign up for emails, and from time to time you’ll get other offers. Staff very friendly and helpful. They seem happy to help substitute things on dishes if there’s something you don’t want... example Happy to swap mushy peas for a bit of salad. If you want real value for money and a cosy pub, look no further. There’s also what I would call a vibe of it being many people’s local, but you never feel it’s just for them either! The staff in here are kind, friendly and very patient. My daughter is very fussy eater but they took the time to cater for her. This was at a meal for 10 children and 9 adults. Gemma was beyond amazing at her service to our table. Keeping food flowing nicely and kept checking if there was anything more she could do. The food was more than expected. The taste was sensational and full of flavour. I felt right at home. The added plus is dogs are welcome too. Thank you to all the staff but mostly Gemma for such an amazing time. I will be coming back again soon!

Visited the Sovereigns on a Friday evening. There were no free parking spaces, so had to park in Heathside Crescent Car Park... about a 6 minute walk away. Bar staff were lovely and very friendly. Decor is a typical pub style. Plenty of seats available in the bar area inside, and lots in the restaurant area. There are picnic tables around the whole exterior of the building, but there's no scenery to look at, just roads and buildings. Although I can't fault the service, the atmosphere was a bit flat.... felt like I wasn't a local and a little out of place. Probably won't visit again.

They say they do deliveries, well mine didn't turn up because the driver (according to the map) was sitting at the other end of our street to my house for 40 minutes trying to say he didn't have my post code, or other excuses! After which they claim it was delivered, it was not, I can prove it has not by the drives texts and the security camera! Sovereigns were notified that I had not received the food and whilst I know drivers can be unreliable at time but disgusts is with Sovereigns for unlawfully taking money out of my account for something they know I had not received, a day after the order was placed! The reviews claim the food is good, who know, but do not trust them for delivers. Voir le carte
