The Snowdrop Inn, Lewes

the best pub in lewes and one of the best pubs I have ever experienced. beautiful drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff and endless cozy atmosphere.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago for a Sunday roast after exploring the lovely area of Lewes. The food was delicious and the pub was fantastic.

Amazing nut roast, the best I’ve ever had at any pub! Potatoes were delicious and veg standard. They did bring me a yorkshire pudding which was not vegan but I just put that to the side! Voir le carte

This charming pub features a beer garden and live music. While there are no vegan options on the menu, the staff were accommodating and willing to modify dishes. We enjoyed a delicious veganized version of the vegetarian chilli, and there were plenty of vegan craft beers available as well.

an excellent pub and ice cream, eating is well prepared and delicious. all considerations for food allergies and special diet need only ask the bar staff, they hear and make them well their food order to their specific requirements. I have loved this pub since the move to sussex in 2000, he has changed a little, but has kept his big food card legendary Sunday midday menu, so I go back again and again when lying is possible.

an outstanding pub and eatery, the food is well prepared and delicious. All considerations for food alledrgies and specific dietry needs (just ask the bar staff, they listen and make good your food order to your specific requirements). I have loved this pub ever since moving to sussex in 2000, it has changed a little but maintained its great food menu(legendary sunday lunch menu) which is why I keep going back whenever opportunity arises/allows. We enjoyed a delicious vegan pie with chips, peas, and gravy at this restaurant. My friend opted for the veggie mac and cheese, which was also delicious. The menu had a good variety of options, all clearly labeled. Although we missed out on trying the Sunday roast, we heard it is fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a great selection of drinks. It was nice to revisit this old favorite after many years. We look forward to coming back again.

this is the perfect place to end a hike, especially as many way to it. there are always vegetarian options on the menu and if there is no vegan option immediately obvious, they always have in the position to make something. I would recommend calling in advance to ask them and give them a head, its not essential, but they seem to appreciate it. The Snowdrop Inn is a traditional comfy small pub with quirky decorations, tucked away in a small back street of Lewes near the cliffs. Friendly staff informed me on the phone that the menu changes regularly there is always a vegan choice ability to adapt some of the veggie choices. On the day we visited, of the four vegetarian starters from 13 items , two could be vegan eg houmous, olives pitta; carrot coriander soup . There were five vegetarian mains out of 19 three were easily veganised.
