"cost my friend to his birthday meal when he likes a mixed grill, but never one as big as that seen before! he enjoyed it very much, even though he could not manage to eat anything. I also enjoyed my filet steak, which was cooked to perfection. they have a hearty appetit and how to eat good quality, then this is a place to go, would recommend it to everyone. thank you for the happy guesthouse for a great birthday meal."

"An amazing family run establishment, it’s hard to find a good Italian using quality tasty ingredients these days, The menu isn’t overwhelming and with the specials menu always on hand we have a nice verity to choose from that keeps us coming back. We stumbled across this little gem one afternoon and never looked back. We visit weekly on our own and occasionally bring the family. We are always warmly welcomed and seated promoting. The service, staff and food has always been superb! Im a small eater and so pleased to small plate options on the menu. We highly recommend this place you won’t be disappointed. "We went yet again usually it is for a treat not this time getting to be an on let's just go to Rigbys ,brilliant food good old fashioned food cooked as you like it . don't want to suggest anything because I like everything on...the menu unless you can manage a giant meal leave the mixed grill alone although we they did with me they supply doggie bags and you will need one ,Sunday lunch is a wow try it can't praise the place enough can't think of anything else to say only hope to see you one evening or on a Sunday lunchtime .........I John Littlewood."

"Book! Seriously we turned up on a thursday night for a meal and it was full. Luckily the staff are amazingly helpful and found a table for us within 5 minutes but we lucked out. Thursday night is steak night, two for 15quid but we went for the burger and lasagne. The gourment burger came with a surprise fried egg and was great value for money. The lasagne was average pub standard, but the pimms and cocktails were amazing. The 5 star rating is for the profiteroles and staff, the profiteroles are to die for, and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere was great and the style a good mix of old and modern pub that worked really well. I would deffo come again if I was in the area."

"Had a lovely Sunday carvery here last week. Lovely decor and really lovely food thats saying something because im a good cook and hard to please) The meat was top quality and so tender, all the veg was beautiful. We also had starters and they were lovely too. Nice little touches like the cutlery was really snazzy, the starters were plated up very nicely, great staff. I would of given it 5 stars but the atmosphere wasn't the cosy pub feel you would expect, it has always been that way so I think it's just the building it's in. It was the day time but maybe some lower lightning and music would help. Don't let that put you off though, the food is well worth it. Just book before you go as it's a busy place. They also do carvery on Friday Saturday and Sunday too."
