The Secret Tea Rooms

This tea room is exceptional for gluten free, I had the choice of 4 cakes today, I chose coffee and walnut to go with the excellent americano coffee.

What more can you ask for very good food (a special shout out for the prawn sandwiches) and excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble for the cheery staff.

Had a lovely afternoon tea staff are really friendly and work so hard ,all the food was fresh and the fruit scones were amazing,booked for my 60th in April well done to all staff .

Fabulous food and service, price reflects the experience but charge extra for oat milk and also marmalade with toast. At £3.50 for a medium americana, wouldn't expect to pay extra for a bit of oat milk.

Had the absolute best afternoon tea today at the Secret Tearoom. The food was delicious and plentiful. Beautiful ambient surroundings and lovely staff who made us feel both welcome and valued. Highly recommended

I had lunch at The Secret Tea Rooms while visiting Brighouse and I enjoyed it so much that I booked to come back for one of their Afternoon Teas. The menu offers a good, varied choice. The food is excellent and so is the service. The place has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful. Their Afternoon Tea is delicious and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you for making both my visits so enjoyable.

I have visited today with my 2 daughters for a late Xmas present. The staff are amazing and so friendly . Gorgeous decorated and clean . We had the afternoon tea for the 3 of us . All I can say is wow . We started off with a portion of leek and potato home made soup and a cheese scone .. The sandwiches were made with such fresh bread and ingredients . We had a choice of tuna and cucumber , chicken , ham , cheese . In a mixture of brown and white bread . And now the desserts . !!!! My husband I tried this tea room on Sat 2nd Sept without booking were lucky to get a table straight away, there's several rooms on 2 levels. The decor was very cute a mix of oldey worldy pretty bunting etc. The staff were really friendly helpful, my husband doesn't often give a tip when paying but he wanted to show his appreciation here ! The menu was quite extensive, ranging from breakfasts till 12 noon, to sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, daily specials, hot meals cakes etc. You could also book afternoon teas in advance.
