Savoy Grill was excellent but Open Table online booking was a shambles, please sort it out. As an example we tried to book a table for the 1890bar but it said that no tables were available, when we got to the Savoy there was plenty of availability !! Anyway we elected to have pre-lunch cocktails at American Bar, lovely.

I was there with my better half to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It is the Savoy so you expect the best. We had cocktails in the bar area and lunch in the grill. Overall very good, I’m a little old fashioned so was surprised to see all the jeans and casual clothing, but I suppose that gives a more relaxed atmosphere and makes it more accessible to ‘Everyman’ which is good. Food and service was good to very good and the price was no more than one would expect of one of the most famous establishments in the world, no complaints.

We were disappointed by the service at our experience. We were celebrating a special occasion for my daughter’s birthday and we confirmed with the hostess numerous times. It would’ve been nice if the front of house communicated that with our server. Also as soon as our entrees were delivered, that was the last time we saw our server for the evening and a runner handled our table for the remainder of the evening. For high quality elevated dining at a top price point, there were several occasions where Savoy Grill dropped the ball in our opinions. Voir le carte
