Food was excellent staff are very welcoming and friendly great service good choice of food on menu

Fish was tiny and the batter was tasteless and the chips were horrible and dry, friendly bar staff though xx

This is a favourite of ours. The menu is fantastic and great value for money. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Top notch no nonsense grub.

It was good, because of the day Mothers Day) we had a considerable wait for our food but it was worth it. The Manager could not apologize enough. Would go back for sure.

We went out here for a drink, but we did not have a meal. There was the added entertainment of a band playing live, which we really enjoyed as they were so good. There was a great choice of wine and beers on tap too. The staff were responsible, the surroundings clean and tidy and the atmosphere was great.

large green king pub with a social atmosphere and a few big screens. outdoor as well as on a sunny location good selection of beer and drinks included cocktails that are made to order. wide pub grub menu with vegan and veggie options and good portion sizes. keen prices offered with some good ones. friendly staff and a place to meet and chat. still the same, busy place.

I like the fact the Sandpiper has a separate GF menu as it makes choosing meals a lot easier than trawling through allergy files. I had a starter portion of nachos as a main meal and it was the perfect size. Hubs had a challenge meal, it looked nicely presented and he said it was tasty. You can't fault the price of the meals. Service at the bar was a bit slow but they have been suffering staff shortages lately so hopefully this will improve. Ladies toilets could do with a bit of maintenance to spruce them up a bit. Overall just glad they are open again and back serving food.

The Sandpiper was a busy bustling pub when we visited. We had booked a table which had been reserved for us. It took a little while to get served ordering food at the bar, but as stated it was busy. The food overall was okay but not amazing. Steak and ale pie was over heated and hard crust in places, not exactly packed with steak but what there was was good. Little pot of almost cold instant gravy didn't help. In truth it was an okay meal which should have been better for the price (even though it wasn't expensive) I ate it all except the pot of gravy, so it couldn't have been too bad.
