"Great village pub, brilliant live music and quiz nights. I could only give 3 stars for food as I hadn't pre ordered on the quiz night, so I couldn't even get a bowl of chips as they had ran out, so I'm guessing it deserves a higher rating than I have given it."

Great little place. Lots of history and well situated for ramblers and cyclists within gorgeous countryside with gardens and parking. Good food and ale along with friendly service and locals. What more could you ask from a country pub.
