"Lovley looking pub, beautiful village but, first day of arriving at campsite (1 mile up the road) long day, wanted a pint. Thankfully decided to drive not walk because we arrived just after nine to be told by landlady she was no longer serving. There was a small group of drunk, but not unpleasant young males in bar. Next night as it was our local we tried again. This time arriving just before 9. The landlady( who was eating dinner with her male friend)apologised saying she didn't want to serve the young men anymore so wasn't serving anyone. So we had a drink, nice chat with her partner, they finished eating/ drinking then he asked us to drink up as we were the only ones in the pub, it was about 10pm. He asked us can we come out earlier tomorrow. We didn't go back. Drove to the bridge pub, went there rest of holiday. Never asked to leave early or told when we should consider turning up."

It's tough to write a review when there aren't any comparable options. However, Jane and Stevie truly stand out as an exceptional couple. The way they engage with their guests creates an unforgettable experience. We stayed for three nights, and the dinners were nothing short of memorable.
