"This is not the first time I have been to this restaurant and it certainly will not be the last. Amazing food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. From my parents in their 80’s to my 8 year old daughter, we were looked after, talked too and genuinely treated like one of the family. Kirsty and Jane are lovely ladies who work really hard here and are a real pleasure to see on our 6 weekly visits. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this wonderful eatery. Book now, you won’t regret it."

Found this pub by accident, lovely pub , oldy worldly nice place for a drink and they also do food but we just had a drink.

We both had an enjoyable evening meal of Hunters Chicken Snitzel, followed by mini pud and coffee. Our front of house was Megan who was cheeky, friendly and jovial. We enjoyed her banter.

Waiting time excessive, food and hour wait, staff seemed very short, tried doing the drinks in your original glass instead of a clean glass. Very expensive menu which goes with Mitchell and butlers inns, disappointed with first visit.

Only went for a drink. They have a lovely outside section too sit and have a drink, especially on a sunny day. If I am honest use to go there with my partner to eat. Two bad experiences and we haven't been back for food in a long while and they used to do a sharing platter that we used to love but they stopped. Things may be much better with the food and like most things it is subjective. What is bad for one person might be good for someone else. Just my thoughts Staff though are great
