"We were extremely disappointed with our Prawn Linguine at this restaurant. It seemed as though it had been reheated rather than cooked fresh, as the pasta was hard and clumped together. We struggled to even cut through it with a knife. One of the meals was replaced, but in hindsight, both should have been cooked fresh. The difference in quality was significant. I would have expected the dish to be served properly the first time around. However, the staff did the right thing by not charging us."

This pub is truly charming. The atmosphere is friendly and fantastic, with stunning views of the river Hamble. The food and drinks were exceptional, and the service was impeccable.

Just ate here with my husband but had fillet steak which is by far the best stark we have both eaten in a long time followed by two lovely desserts Nice location over looking the water with friendly staff Voir le carte

Went out for an impromptu evening and ended up at The Rising Sun at Warsash. Both the starters and main came out to us in good time and was nicely presented and hot. I would also like to mention our waitress Katie who was very efficient and friendly.

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! The food was of excellent quality for the price and offered great value. I tried the mac and cheese, which was delicious and really cheesy, accompanied by a generous side salad. The service was efficient and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

We have just had a meal at the rising sun in warsash. Both my husband and I had the sirloin steak. It was tough and tasteless. The accompaniments were poor, a few frozen chips, 3 onion rings, 1/2 hard tomato and some pea shoots. Not worthy of the £17.99 price point. Certainly cannot recommend eating there. We were a family of four who wanted to try out the lovely new menu. We were not disappointed at all. The new recipe lasagne I had was fabulous but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their choices too. I would particularly like to mention how wonderful Charlotte was. She’s one special person, so attentive and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Rising Sun, we’ll be sure to come back again very soon. Kazza

we had lunch here today 01/11/2023 the food was great and served with lovely presentation. the service was out of this world by Charlotte. Nothing was to much trouble and the young man that was behind the bar poured a great pint too. They both did really well today as it was a busy lunch time and they was the only staff on but they did amazing job with service drinks and making sure every table was happy. we will be back again soon.
