"Often eat at this pub and food is generally of a very good standard. Perhaps it was because it was a bank holiday Monday but the menu was disappointing and the lamb koftas were not nice. Very cheap and rubbery with sloppy chopped up salad. Also the service wasn’t up to its usual standard, hope it’s just a blip. Also my friend was sent a two for one cocktail email but to get them had to go on to another site and ask endless questions and they then didn’t send the code. Manager was understanding as he could see it wasn’t our fault and gave us the offer anyway our thanks to him for that."

We received a warm welcome from the hosts and enjoyed our pre-lunch drinks with friends in a bright and comfortable back room. The staff were generally very helpful, and they made sure we were seated in a quieter part of the restaurant to accommodate one member of our group who is hard of hearing. The menu had a good selection of dishes, but we felt the prices were a bit high for the quality of the food served. Despite this, we plan to return due to the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive staff, hoping that the food will meet our expectations next time.
