Visited over Easter. The menu has declined since last visit in 2019. Order a cheese and onion cob as lack of choice for vegetarians. The cob was hard and stale. Such a shame that the food has declined so much. Been visiting woolacombe for 25...years and always loved the Red Barn. Went to Bar electric instead… they have a much better menu and food higher quality.

Have been visiting this pub/restaurant for 18 years experienced some good food , drink.......until April 2022. Finding out it has changed ownership , and you can tell. Drink prices now same as nightclubs , food shortages limited menu selection .CARD ONLY ???? Well dissapointed....There is a fine line between business and greed. It's nothing like it used to be Won't be returning.

very busy place, in a great location. called for fish and chips and was not disappointed. reasonable prices and friendly staff. it only felt a little forgotten in the corner, i.e. had to go after cutlery and seasoned, and drinks came after eating, but. it was crazy busy and it wasn't like the staff did nothing, they ran away from their feet, so could see that it wasn't intentional. Too bad we couldn't find a table out there that's perfect.

requested a starter as a main with 5 more main meals. starter came out first, was sent back to come out with mains. same starter then came back out cold. sent it back and asked for fresh, same meal came back heated through. burgers were...like warm not hot, coffee was like warm. staff came and checked on food after about 15 mins. meal finished and were still waiting for table to be cleared after about half an hour, paid bill and left. Wont be back

on Sunday, 24th april 2022. a nice place to eat and drink, the staff was nice. nothing was too much annoyed. they are dog friendly, like most places in woolacombe. that was nice and our coffee. we were so...developed together with some others that it did not open on Monday and now we found out that it was open only Friday, Saturday Sunday. the whole week. as a shame as it could be a small gold mine. hopefully it will be opened more in the summer months

We’ve had great meal on previous visit, so happy to come again with bonus of now being dog friendly! Initially put off by very limited menu, but the waitress explained how hard it has been to get usual seasonal staff and it’s the only way...they can operate. They were able to accommodate my off menu request for steak and salad and the meal was delicious. We all really enjoyed the food, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Really hope this venue keeps going, and that visitors can forgive a teething period for new ownership.

for the first time the red barn, since it was bought... our first attempt was crashed when we discovered that the kitchen closed at 8 (disappointing after a long drive) and the pub closed at 10, which probably explains why it was...tot on a Friday night. we went to lunch of course the prospects are still spectacular, the staff is still friendly, but there is no atmosphere that eating was very average pub-tarife and the focus on dorset beer seems strange in devon! the red barn is an institution in woolacombe fingering crossed it gets its nut back for the summer season.

Brilliant Sunday lunch. We came here today 2 adults, 1 teenager. Wasn’t sure if we had to book but were told once we arrived, they don’t take bookings. It was very busy but they said just grab a table if you can find One and...order at the bar. Food came out in decent time, we both had Roast beef and it was really delicious. Daughter had a double cheeseburger and she said it was good too. This place has recently just re-opened so I believe, but I thought that with the amount of people they were dealing with, that it was pretty decent, good price, nice selection of drinks, and liked the decor. Would deffo visit again. I did hear someone say that they weren’t serving food to the outside tables...
