We had family visiting so went for evening drinks. A little disappointed that Monday and Tuesday evening's are early closing (no service after 9pm). We would have stayed quite a while later if we could have.

This is my third visit to The Queen's Head and once again, the food was excellent and the service was great. It is a traditional pub restaurant with a friendly land lord and land lady who make you feel very welcome. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

The food was fantastic; eating off the hot rocks was a fun experience and the food was great too. Not too badly priced. The staff were polite and efficient, almost too efficient, interrupting a leaving speech twice to ask if we wanted the bill. They could have also been a bit more friendly; a smile wouldn't have gone amiss. Voir le carte

The TSB RSA Retirement Club had a fantastic ploughman’s luncheon, with a choice of cheeses or Ham as well as the usual accompaniments. Jane and her team were both friendly and efficient as always would highly recommend a visit. We use this facility for our club quizzes and skittle nights as it accommodates a good number of people.

We visited for lunch after visiting the nearby castle. It was a Sunday, but interestingly the full menu was available not just Sunday lunch. The prices were reasonable and the food quality and service were first class. In the end we both had Sunday lunch and the portions were large. We would both go back next time we are in the area..

Started off with really lovely service, hubby ordered steak which was really nice, I ordered the lasagna which unfortunately was quite watery and my garlic bread was quite salty. Another waiter then came over and the service went downhill, she didn’t really seem to care. After raising food issues with a manager all of our issues were dealt with brilliantly. Voir le carte
