"Went in at lunch time. Unfriendly barman. Bar full of swearing locals watching TV. Lounge area full of noisy dog owners and their dogs. Very unhygienic and dirty. Was going to eat but decided not to. Dogs and restaurants do not go together. Best leave this sort of pub to the locals. Outsiders obviously not welcome !!"

Stopped for lunch while passing on the way to the seaside. Service was good. Food was very fresh, well presented, generous portions and delicious. Bought a meal for my toddler, sandwich arrived with no crusts, chips and salad with baby tomatoes (vs large tomatoes on the adult meals). It was lovely.
