"a traditional English pub with modern flair. they have a good selection of their favorite tips with a particularly good selection of gins. also one has to try is a flight from some of the national and local ales. they have the biggest hits of the British kitchen, fish and chips, steak and ale cake and the scotch ei. If they never had a scotch egg, they have to try. if they miss a vacation and diet, they try the brotpudding, fantastic! they also have a selection of salads. the goat is very beautiful. the pub is family friendly and dog friendly. they will even put out a bowl for their dogs. the personal is friendly and eager to serve them. a great place to see old friends and make new ones. almost forgotten to mention, the sunday roast is a must!"

The location is historic, the pub itself classic with outstanding customer service and great food. We had the fish chips which were fabulous.

Overpriced microwaved food, served by a reluctant chef. Prices of the food are a fraction of the actual prices. Made to feel very unwelcome. Not a good experience.

Our second visit to this pub and as previously we enjoyed the experience. All was good other than both the carrots and broccoli would have benefitted from being cooked a little longer. Would not hesitate to return.

Visiting our son.We turned up half an hour late as couldn't park , but let the pub know .Lewis was incredible, so helpful.Carvery literally the best , we have ever had, and so reasonably priced.Staff we're an asset..thank you .Will be back in the new year, on our next visit .A jewel in the crown of Windsor.
