My partner and I booked a table for pre theatre dinner. We both had pizzas which were lovely and so big that no starter was needed. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Great for quick service and no worrying about being late for the theatre. We'll definitely go back.

I made a reservation through OpenTable. Upon arriving, I found the restaurant closed for renovations, with no message on their answering machine. I was very disappointed and had an expensive evening. Booked through open table. Got there and absolutely unbelievable the restaurant was shut for refurbishment. No ansaphone message. Thanks to all of you for a very disappointing and expensive night. All of which could have been avoided. WHY WERE WE ABLE TO BOOK this ???? And received a booking confirmation ?????

We have eaten at Viva L'italia previously and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service. On this occasion the owner called to say the restaurant was being refurbished so our booking was transferred to the Italian Steak House his other restaurant in Windsor. The food was average and my order of carbonara with no cream came with cream. The homemade tiramisu was more like a cake, was smothered in chocolate sauce and had little flavour. The waiters were friendly but I came away disappointed. To be fair, we only paid 50% for the carbonara, but it would have been better to be served what had been ordered. I really want to like this place but I'm not sure I would return.

However, we were informed that the restaurant had been renovated and our booking for the Italian steakhouse was transferred to their other location in Windsor. The food was average, and my carbonara order without cream was served with cream. The homemade tiramisu resembled more of a cake, was drowned in chocolate sauce, and lacked flavor. The staff were friendly, but overall, I left feeling disappointed. We were given a 50% discount for the incorrect carbonara, but it would have been better to receive the correct dish. While I had hoped to enjoy Viva L'Italia, I am unsure if I will return in the... Voir le carte
