Croeso cynnes a bwyd anhygoel! Excellent food, with an amazing atmosphere and hosts. We had the sunday roast, a mix of turkey and beef we asked for the beef recipe before leaving! :

We went here for Sunday lunch and it was delicious, one of the nicest lunches I have had in a long time. Dessert was also tasty. Staff were friendly. Look forward to trying some of the other evenings.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome at the restaurant. Our meal was outstanding and provided excellent value for the high quality of food. The atmosphere in the pub was cozy and inviting, making our overall experience very enjoyable.

Delicious roast beef and turkey with all the trimmings. Yummy, yummy desserts. Possibly the best Sunday roast I've had. Warm, friendly atmosphere in cosy, attractive surroundings . Excellent service from all staff. Couldn't rate it more highly.

We had the warmest of welcomes from the hosts, who were happy to chat in Welsh and in English. We had a delicious locally made cider in bottles, and good hot coffee (it was a freezing day). The food was plentiful and extremely tasty, especially the homemade focaccia and venison ragu as part of the sharing starter and the slow-cooked beef rib main. All the puddings sounded delicious, but we couldn't manage one! Byddwn yn ol i gael pwdin y tro nesa! Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Bwyd ardderchog a chwmi da. We had the steak cooked by Joe the Chef...what a steak, probably the best we've ever had. This had been prepared with great thought and some food science. With the steak came the creamy mushrooms....again the taste was tremendous. Home made chips rounded off this wonderful plate of food. Rachael an Ceri behind the bar made us feel welcomed....a true Welsh croeso. Did we enjoy the experience....what do you think? Edrych mlaen I ddod nol yn fuan. Diolch

I visited this pub with some local friends who highly recommended it. I probably wouldn't have found it on my own, but I'm glad they took me. The meal was fantastic - we didn't have many choices, but that meant we got to try a little bit of everything. Every dish was delicious and we couldn't even finish everything because they were so generous with the portions. This place is perfect for special occasions, having friends over, or for a romantic treat. It's a unique experience compared to most pubs and I would highly recommend it.

I recently discovered this amazing restaurant, despite living only seven miles away. The owners and staff greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. This place is a true pub with high-quality, gourmet food. While they may not have a Michelin star, I would easily rate them 5 stars. We enjoyed a grazing starter, followed by a delicious 16-hour cooked beef rib for three people, and a garlic-free steak cooked over a wood fire for one person. Every plate was so delicious that we licked them clean. The chef personally introduced each dish to us and even came out to chat with customers once the kitchen had closed. It was a superb meal and a fantastic evening overall.

We were reccomended this lovely Inn by the owner of the cottage we rented. The food is unique and out of this world. We went on a Saturday evening, when there is a set menu. (Booking Highly Reccomended). The friendly helpful hosts, talked us through the fine food they offered. The food is served hot from the kitchen and is flavoursome, eyecatching and moreish. We tucked into 3 types of meat. Beef slow cooked in onions and guiness for over 12 hours, Ham Hock cooked in Honey and Mustard and Chicken cooked in lemon and herbs.
