The scallops on black pudding, or Pilgrim's on Horseback, is another standout. My friend max won't eat lamb anywhere else. Excellent rooms and superb food. Be prepared to get into the rhythm of the place slow down and chill everything is made to order and the dining experience is very personal and intimate. A bit like a private dining club. Can’t praise it enough.
