Step without reservation at 1:30 am ish and get nice service for cream tea immediately! The staff was friendly and friendly, and the Scones were perfect, big and hot. Sitting is cozy and the natural light comes through the windows in the afternoon.

We were out here for a weekend and it was perfect. Beautiful room, smart clean bathroom in a crisp location. The breakfasts they serve are awesome, I had the full English one day and eggs Benedict the other, both were the greatest and best surprise was this crisp Wee Mini Bar. Would come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed tonight's Sunday roast beef dinner. It was so tender and juicy and perfectly seasoned, great vegetable sides, yorkshire pudding and gravy. Just the right portion to leave room for scrumptious sticky date pudding with warm toffee sauce and gingerbread ice cream! Absolutely delicious!

We stayed whilst visiting York for a long weekend. Really good service, great breakfast and the rooms were amazing. It was a real treat. We had a couple of meals here during our visit and the food was excellent. We thought there was good options to accommodate different diets. The atmosphere in the pub was good with a mix of people eating and drinking.

I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was relaxed. I sat in a booth and made it an intimate affair with my partner and me. The music was a bit loud, and they proportioned the sugar that was funny when they were a dice at a time, but it did not ruin the experience. I had pork and it was wonderfully cooked to cook. My partner is also a cook so it is always good when u get a praise from him

Amazing Pub, the theme is Rugby based, the staff is very attentive, and accomodating. Such a great service, adding to the experience. Wide range of beer on draught, good selection and great wines as well. Without a doubt, if you're within the area, it is a must to pass through for a drink and food! Ensure to enrol in the Loyalty club to get the most of the exclusive offers and special events.

Great place, nice outside area, good menu and good food overall. Drinks menu has no prices on the beer section. Beers are the national average which i think is a lot especially for your own production, pint for session IPA was £5.30. Fish and chips for a full portion is £17.50. I understand there is inflation and is Bath, however these are standard plates, and drinks. If it was 15-20% cheaper i would give it 5 star. Service was decent

My wife, younger brother, our local Bristol friend, and I came to take a stroll through Bath and found this location. We're originally from Chicago and we just loved it here. I think it's mainly the environment. The pubs here have their individual style to them. Drinks were easily ordered at the bar and the group enjoyed them quite a bit. Bath being as beautiful as it is has plenty of pubs that each have their own history. I'm sure glad we managed to stop by here to enjoy it for a short while. Hope to be back soon.

Very pleasant! The burger and the chicken chimichuri (God knows how this is written! were above our expectations. Very delicious! The best we had since the return to the United Kingdom. The staff was also beautiful and very attentive. We were very happy that our dog was also allowed, as we thought he would not be (they were full outside, where we thought he was allowed, and we were hungry! He even got a bowl of water. Thank you. Not everyone is as friendly as this place, especially at a very busy, hot, sunny Saturday afternoon. We would come back and recommend!
