Great food and friendly service. Good range of vegetarian/vegan food. Lovely rural setting.

The food was delicious and they had a unique beer that is not commonly found in other pubs.

Lovely country pub by the side of a stream, not been there for about 35 years , went last night with some friends and we weren't disappointed the food was excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly, lovely evening certainly be going back again soon.

My new favourite place! Within the last month at least four visits made! I can recommend eating off the specials board, the main menu and the Sunday lunch! Whatever they are doing there please keep it up as you just have it! Don’t change a single thing!! Voir le carte

we were often at the pheasant and never had a bad experience. eating is always very good, always hot and always the staff is beautiful. we often visit on Friday afternoon and have the frying dinner at £9.99, which is great. loading of veg and good quality meat.

We made a last-minute reservation without any problems. We had to wait about 35 minutes for our two meals, which we were told was due to a large group ordering just before us. It would have been better if we were informed about the delay rather than having to ask. The food was perfect, served hot and very flavorful. However, the regular lager is quite expensive at £5 per pint, which is more like premium lager prices at our local pub. It's something to consider, as our bill for three drinks and two meals totaled over £50.

Had a wonderful lunch there..home cooked ham two fried eggs exactly as I requested..very hot chips and peas..one of their many lunch time specials...very reasonably priced . This must be one of the best kept pubs in UK in a beautiful award winning village. Fresh carnations at every table..plants on all the window sills and although a traditional pub with oak beams and a fireplace . ...it was light ...airy ..lots of windows and the service was quick friendly and hospitable. The host was there when we were leaving and anxious to know if we enjoyed our meals.
