The staff are polite, friendly and very accommodating! The food is spot on snd absolutely delicious! Highly recommend if you’re in the area!!!!

We had a warm welcome at the Peacock. There was a good choice of food on the menu and the pie of the day was delicious. The staff were friendly and the service excellent.

Absolutely spot on barring my mother's pies ,this was one of the best lovely meal an atmosphere, fire side log burner ,Sophie was excellent saw to our orders , on a cold night a warm welcoming inn

Had a voucher for some money off the bill with the fork. Both of us had a steak, which was cooked to perfection. Was served by Becca who was polite, charming and funny. We would recommend and will be coming back.

We had Christmas meal here, we were all very happy the food was amazing, although it was very busy the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was really good, staff seem very happy, it was very clean and the decor is so much better I loved the fresh flowers. Thank you Ryan and all the team Voir le carte

Not been here for a while, it’s a lovely place charming decor. The service was better than before. The food was great well presented prices have gone up a lot but everything has every where. Something has changed at this place seems to have a whole new team inn good luck to them. Our server seemed new to the place but I couldn’t fault we all have to learn somewhere. Great atmosphere will return.

Booked a table for six for my son-in-law‘s birthday. We were sat by the window unfortunately was really cold even though the heating was on the waitress did offer to put the blinds down to try and make it a little bit warmer. Staff were really nice. They seemed a bit busy did say it was very busy in the pub our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, which, considering three of them were just soft drinks seem to take a while but I must say when the food arrived, it was absolutely lovely, were going to stay and have dessert but decided to pay and go as we were cold, but would definitely come back. The decor and inside of the pub is really welcoming.

Absolutely awful! Me and my fiancee chose to have our christmas dinner at the peacock together, what a bad decision!! From the moment we walked in it was bad, no acknowledgment from any staff memebers for at least 5 minutes... We were then sat at our table... We order 2 glasses of wine, after 30 minutes of waiting my partner had to get up and go and collect them herself as they had been poured and just left on the bar area. We had already pre-ordered our food so there was no meed for us to order that. 1 hour past and still we havent recieved our starters.
