Ideal place to meet up in a casual bar style environment. Food and service very good plus a large range of beers and modest wine list.

Visit this bar regularly after work and with friends for weekend drinks, lovely staff, beautiful building and a very well stocked bar. Well worth a visit!

I stopped by this restaurant on a weeknight before catching the train, as it is in a convenient location. The drinks were affordable, but the inside of the restaurant had a strong smell of urine. Voir le carte

An ideal venue for a quick drink, a catch up with friends, or a night out. Amazing service from Emily throughout my visit, making me feel welcome and valued as a customer. The choice of drinks was extensive, and had plenty to offer.

Entered on a busy Saturday early evening and stood at the bar and waited patiently be served, lots of gins and cocktails and long drinks that take ages to pour, I only wanted a pint of ale, so I waited and waited and waited patiently again and again and again until then observing other punters waltzing up and being served immediately at which point I decided to depart. Please sort your bar staff out Billy! Albeit the Security staff greeted me in and thanked me again on my way out.

I visited this restaurant for the real ale and loved the Steaming Billy. The service was excellent thanks to the very friendly staff. We chose to sit in the room with the dartboards for a quiet drink, but unfortunately, our experience was ruined by one of the only other two people in the room. She was not only loud but also never stopped talking the entire time we were there. It was hard to believe she was able to take a breath. We had tickets to see the Leicester Tigers play over the weekend and had pre-booked two booths at the Parcel Yard. Despite the busy atmosphere, the staff (Tara and Sophie) were extremely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. Our pre-ordered food arrived promptly and was delicious; some in our group had the steak sandwich, while others enjoyed the roast beef, and everyone was impressed. The restaurant had a good variety of beers and a great selection of gin. Special thanks to Eanna for booking our reservation. We will definitely be returning to the Parcel Yard when we visit Leicester again.

Xmas meal we had yesterday was the worst I've ever had and cost £30 for 3 courses, almost twice as much as I had paid for 2 other group Xmas meals at Keepers Lodge and Hobby Farm (Hobby Horse). We were told they had lost their chef the day before but no-one contacted us prior to us arriving for the meal. Where we were seated it was so cold, it's the first time I've worn coat and gloves to eat a meal. Several others also kept their coats on. Food took ages to come out, people were eating main course without gravy as that came out quite a while after the food. There were 3 or 4 roast potatoes on the plates, they were so small and thin if you stacked them on top of each other they didnt equate...

I guess all the good reviews are from staff or regulars. We went in. My Dad 79, sister 55 and brother in law also , after getting off the train. I have been here before the pandemic, so it was my idea to stop off there. As with the last review we seemed to get served last for our drinks, yet people just walked in and grabbed a drink under my brother in Laws nose. The staff didn't even acknowledge him. We got our drinks eventually and went outside where we thought it would be pleasant, but wow! were we wrong! Not long after we settled into the dogs cage, that once was a peaceful patio, we suddenly joined by a group of people. Who literally began behaving like kids. Laughing and shouting so lo...
