We were not allowed to sit at the table we booked due apparently to a staff shortage Within minutes however someone else was sitting at that very table!

We went to the oystercatcher as we had been before and knew the food would be good, this visit was to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed.

the oystercatcher was very unwillingly cold and it was completely absent from ambiente. eating was disappointing, although the service was reasonable. would not recommend.

First visit here for approx 2 years and we found it much better than in the past. Everything was no trouble and in all an excellent lunch.We will visit again in the future.

Lovely place and great staff … we had a minor issue with one of our groups food and the manager and staff could not do enough to put it right … definitely going back for seconds !!

liz our waitress was lovely; funny, warm and polite. eating was delicious, although it seemed that the fish and chip shares were much smaller than preparing to visit earlier. I think this is so understandable to the economic climate. I'm sick!
