"what a fabulous stay at oxenham arms. it was only for a few nights this time, but we will definitely be back for a longer stay. we really can't find a mistake. the hotel itself has an enviable history and is located in the beautiful village south zeal. our reception was warm and welcoming and the owners, lin simon were very hospitable. john was very friendly as he checked us, booked us for dinner, shown us in our rooms and talked about the hotel. the room in which we were was immaculately clean and the bathroom immaculate. we especially liked to leave their shoes (in a shoe floor) outside the room. we lick dirty carpets in hotel rooms and this is a simple but really effective way to keep the rooms immaculate. about eating, it was delicious. everything is made fresh and the chefs earn real praise for the quality of the food they supply. our hostess, hollie was an absolute joy. another observation. we have a recent Skating review of someone who was at an early stage, at the same time we are accused of being the owner of the rude. that has upset us because it is not true. it is actually the other way round and the women actually came as rude to the owner. it's pretty sad how they can post such a bad review if it's not really what happened. excellent hotel and restaurant and can not recommend the oxenham arms very much."

The atmosphere is delightful, the staff is attentive and helpful, the food is delicious, and the location is stunning with rich history. I give it 5 stars!

The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The towels were clean and wonderfully fluffy. The breakfast was excellent, and the bar was lovely. I hope to visit again and enjoy dinner, as the menu looked fantastic.

My husband and I had the most amazing Valentine's Day treat at this hotel. A night in the Belvedere Room with fabulous 4 poster bed and views onto the Moor . We had a delicious 4 course meal in the restaurant too and a Full English breakfast was included in the price for the room . Fabulous !! We will be back. Voir le carte

Wow, I was searching for a spot to meet a friend halfway, and I found an absolute gem. Our Sunday dinner was delightful. The staff provided a warm and lovely welcome, and the venue itself is a stunning, historic building that took my breath away. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you! I will definitely be back.

Picked this hotel as we wanted a place to stay whilst we walked around Dartmoor. What a perfect place to stay it turned out to be. Wonderful staff, absolutely fantastic food and a lovely room to sleep in. The hotel is seeped in history and a definite place to re visit. Indeed we plan to go back Easter time. Would highly recommend.
