Ordered food for collection by app, food ready quickly, was good value, and tasty

Everyone who works there is massively underpaid by the owner. But the food and stuff is good

Can't go wrong if you're searching for simple dishes. I prefer delivery but there's space to eat within. Voir le carte

Tis what it says on the tin. Good quality pasties in nice surroundings. Shakes the children had also went down well

Very very slow service. An hour before closing. 3 or 4 of them were just walking around. From the time they finely took an order it took 20 minutes for my pasty to get to the table.

£4.15 for a cheese and onion pasty not much larger than a cocktail pasty is a complete joke. What justifies the price of this? Will never go back. Especially as they don't even make them they are just cooked. Not impressed AT ALL! Voir le carte

Deliveries always forget something without fail when we order. Twice we were missing a drink but now other stuff too. Like onion rings. It’s not cheap and such a faff to keep ring to get them to bring the missing stuff. Won’t bother again, unfortunately.

We went in and asked for a table in the cafe but were told it was full, couldn’t book a table or wait so we ordered in the takeaway bit . I nipped to the loo through the cafe and low and behold there were two empty tables so I asked if we could sit at one with our takeaway pasties and was told by a young lad we could, having sat down we were then told we couldn’t however I just referred the other person to the young lad

My wife and myself are currently holidaying in North Devon (based at the excellent Imperial Hotel in Barnstaple Review to follow) and yesterday we paid a visit to Tavistock. After looking around various local eateries, we opted for the Original Padty House where we much enjoyed one of their Large Steak Pasties and a generous cup of tea. Oth accompanied by excellent service. As such, more than happy to recommend the Original Pasty House to other visitors to Tavistock. Voir le carte
