The Olive Tree - Carte

We had a breakfast in the early hours of the morning, the breakfast was hot,well presented,we didn’t have to wait long for it, it wasn’t huge but enough to tied you over for a few hours.

This is the worst battered fish I have EVER had. Apparently it's supposed to be a light golden homemade beer batter. It is burnt on the outside raw on the inside and the oil tastes rancid. Be warned

When you no real choice of where to eat, I suppose you should not expect too much.but you should your food still be of a good standard. the olive tree food not really up to scratch. just yo be warm would help. Voir le carte

WHS was sold out of sandwiches so we looked at the Olive Tree takeaway selection. Not only were the ingredients not shown but there wasn’t even a basic description of what each sandwich was. There were a couple of shelf tags but no way to tell what was what.

Recently rebranded as The Navigator, but the name change did not improve the overall experience. I was served yesterday's chips, which were inedible and disgusting. The dish looked terrible and tasted just as bad. I returned the chips and will make sure to eat before coming here in the future.

Presented my traveller card which states you get 25% off food and drink only to be told you have to buy a meal as well as a drink to get the discount. Very misleading on the app. Eat and drink before you get here as they will not honour the offer and they know they’ve got you once you’re through security! Voir le carte

I ordered breakfast before a flight. The wait to even place my order was extremely long, only to find out that the prices were exorbitant. When our food arrived, we received scrambled eggs instead of fried (which wasn't a big deal), but when we asked the waiter about it, he just shrugged and said "I don't know" before walking away. Unbelievable.

My partner and I chose to have breakfast at the airport before our early flight. Unfortunately, we didn't check the reviews until it was too late, as there were no other dining options at the airport. The drinks were okay, but extremely overpriced. The food, specifically the pancakes and cooked breakfast, was awful. It was definitely not a pleasant way to start our holiday. It's best not to arrive with an empty stomach!

I visited The Olive Tree in August last year and gave a one star review. I visited again on June 29th with very little expectation, but, was pleasantly surprised. There were 4 or 5 members of staff behind the bar, all working extremely hard. Theft were all very friendly and efficient in doing their job. The long queues that I have experienced in the past weren't allowed to develop due to the efforts of the staff behind the bar. We ordered food which arrived promptly. The chips were tasty, but, my burger wasn't particularly hot. I would definitely use The Olive Tree again based on this experience. Voir le carte
