"I recently stayed at this charming pub with friends for four nights to celebrate my birthday. It has a lot of character and the staff were incredibly friendly. The accommodation was excellent, and there was a great selection for breakfast, as well as a varied dinner menu. I will definitely be returning and would wholeheartedly recommend it to family and friends. Lastly, a big shout-out to Kim—she is truly an asset to The Ship Inn!"

I had a wonderful stay in the cottage next to the pub. The host was friendly and very helpful, and the food was amazing. It’s a great spot for exploring Northumberland, and we were lucky with the weather as well!

Definitely! Great ales great atmosphere lovely staff and chatty others! Awful this closing time of 10pm by gov just as you are acquainted with others and deep in conversation over a drink, down come the shutters......not their fault but not great either! A lovely oldie worldie pub. Fabulous!
