"Stayed at a B&B close by, needed somewhere to eat. Was surprised to see the difference to interior to exterior design. Lovely open area to sit, fairy lights on ceiling in one room, an assortment of ornaments on shelves in another. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of food, though slightly expensive. Lovely beer battered fish and chips. Nice range of cider. The added bonus was they accepted dogs into the pub/restaurant, which several others also attended. Exterior could do with a ‘makeover’ to match interior."

"I always enjoy dining at the lounges, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover how lively this street is! The food is truly delicious, and it’s greatly appreciated. While the pints are pricier than those at the Wetherspoons next door, the much better menu makes it worth it. The cocktails look fantastic, and I can’t wait to try them as well. They also have different offers on various days. The interior is spacious, and there’s a lovely outdoor area too. The food selection is extensive, and the cozy decor with candles creates a warm atmosphere. I will definitely be back! Plus, there's a large parking area behind the restaurant that’s free after 6 PM, making it ideal for dinner."

"Tuesday 24th. We waited for approximately 50 minutes for our order, which included a burger and a katsu curry chicken, to be served. During this time, we had to endure disruptive children running around the pub. The staff noticed the situation but did not take any action, even though it was clearly bothering guests like us who were seeking a quiet dining experience. We also witnessed a group coming in, but they were discouraged from ordering food, even though the pub was nearly empty by then. There were only a few of us and a few others still waiting for our meals to arrive. The group eventually gave up and had to find food elsewhere. When our food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, while we were trying to eat, a group of guys sat right next to us, watching football and making it difficult for us to enjoy our meal. I would not recommend this place and do not plan to go back."

"Excellent takeaway. Phoned to order and confirm they took cash on payment. Took our order. Advised delivery time and said driver would call when he was on his way, which he did. Met us at campsite reception. Friendly driver. Great portions and not over-priced like the ones at home in Cornwall! Delicious food cooked to perfection. Already looking forward to ordering again when we stay next year."

"We ate here last night after enjoying The Glastonbury Frost Fayre. It was very busy with a 30 minute wait for a table. My wife had the chicken tikka special, with mango. I had a chicken passanda. Sadly this eatery does not have a drinks license but you can bring your own ata cost to you of £1.50 per person!! Service was ok, although it felt like I was eating under the supervision of a female dominatrix, all dressed in black with a very stern look on her face. Our food was tasty enough. Especially the chicken with mango. Mine was a tad on the insipid side. Both meals were served in cold dishes which meant the food cooled down well before we finished it. I doubt we would return here."
