"On my next visit to Cookham, I took the chance to revisit the Swan Uppers. I ordered a drink and settled at a table in the bar since I wanted to have dinner there. I chose the calves' liver and bacon with a side of tenderstem broccoli. The food arrived promptly after I ordered and was presented beautifully. The liver was cooked to perfection, and the smoked bacon complemented it wonderfully, served on a bed of mash with a delicious shallot and red wine jus. The broccoli was cooked with garlic and chili, and possibly some coriander, giving it a delightful Asian-inspired flavor. I was so glad to have the chance to return to this friendly, cozy, and welcoming pub that serves fantastic food."

I always enjoy eating here. I feel more like pub with a good restaurant than gastroub....in my view anyway. great eating and atmosphere.

The interior has a lovely ambiance, reminiscent of a quaint country pub. Unfortunately, they were not serving hot drinks or food at 5 PM. Voir le carte

It's just a short walk from my home, which is a fantastic advantage. They serve the best beer on tap—Neck Oil—so it's definitely worth a visit!

I went for a pint and I have to say harry is one of the best manager I have seen in a dae, crazy us feel very welcome, kew also makes the best scotch eier, will certainly be back for some more in the future.

great eating, friendly atmosphere and personal. not the cheapest for a pub, but good value for the quality of food. if I had a critique, it would be the size of the parking lot, but this is not the fault of the pub. Voir le carte

Lived down the river for years but never came here before last week. How annoying! Nice little seated area now following lockdown 3 and the lunch was excellent, great food, selection and portions. Can't wait to get back inside for a good pint but well done to the management, chefs and staff. We have recommended you to family and friends.

a beautiful fund of the old wan was recommended to us and we were ready to book lunch as in the opposite. the decor is quite charming and there are also many parking spaces. interesting decisions on the menu and eating was also not disappointed. service was good and friendly, without being intrusive. we will almost certainly visit again and I would not have hesitated to recommend the place.
