"This pub is visually appealing both inside and outside. Over the years, we have occasionally stopped by while walking along the Old Tram Road. It is situated in a beautiful location. Today, we came for lunch with our Australian family. I had called ahead as it was half term week and Falmouth was busy. The person who answered the phone sounded half asleep, which should have been a warning sign. The pub was very quiet when we arrived. I inquired about the burger and the female waitress seemed uninterested and briefly pointed out that it came with all the usual toppings. When I asked about gherkin, she confirmed it was included but when the food arrived, there was none. She then brought a saucer with chopped gherkin, but the overall food quality was mediocre. The halloumi burger was poorly grilled and the classic burger seemed to be mixed with sausage meat. The coffees ordered at the end were described as awful by the others at the table. When my partner requested more sugar, the landlord made a sarcastic comment about it being enough for their travels. Our Australian guests noted the rude service compared to the friendliness they experienced in Ireland. It was a disappointing and embarrassing experience for us."

I spent a week in the area and visited the Old Quay multiple times. The beers, wine, food, and local atmosphere were all excellent. I wish I could bring the restaurant home and set it up in my living room.

I went to the Old Quay Inn while staying in Devoran for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern, and friendly the pub was, and it was also dog-friendly. I highly recommend the beer-battered fish, which was incredibly fresh. My daughter enjoyed the curry as well. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit.

After staying at the campsite nearby, we decided to come down to this restaurant for a meal. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes that perfectly matched the lively atmosphere of the pub, along with a variety of ales, ciders, and other drinks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming pub. The service was excellent and the location couldn't have been better. It truly is a hidden gem. I highly recommend trying the roast. The staff were incredibly friendly and made my visit a memorable one. Overall, I give this place a 5-star rating for its service and location. After a pleasant stroll with my partner, we made the decision to visit the Old Quay Inn. Despite some uncertainty after reading reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to give it a try. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the friendly landlord, John, and the bar staff, Ollie and Tom. I must say, they were fantastic people. Despite some negative reviews claiming the landlord was rude, I can assure you that we received a warm welcome akin to the one and only Alan Partridge.
