""The Sunday lunch at this restaurant is amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the spinach wellington was delicious. Dining in the garden on a mild October day was a lovely experience. The service was friendly and made the meal even more enjoyable. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30. I highly recommend trying the Sunday Roast.""

"I have been a fan of Flourish for years. The food and cakes are excellent and always a good selection. However more recently the cleanliness of the tables and floor has been let go. The tables are left sticky and there is crumbs and caked on dirt all over the floor. On a recent visit the toilet bin is full to capacity with paper towels ?. Its a shame, I feel it has been let go. The whole place needs a clean from top to bottom, There is no excuse for dirty tables. I would hope that this gets sorted out soon before its popularity fades!"

"This is a lovely cafe offering a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. The service is excellent and the staff have a friendly attitude and you can take away if you want to enjoy at home. Two items we would recommend would be the giant sausage roll and for a sweet treat you must try the kouign-amann which is a sweet Breton honey pastry which is simply delicious. The coffee was good and the prices reasonable."

"The positives, lovely venue, happy staff and availability to book at short notice. On the flip side, we waited 25 minutes for food after being seated for our tea and the very polite waiter told me there would be other flavours of sandwiches on the stand after I told him I don't like salmon. When it arrived my mum ate the salmon sandwiches and I ate the cheese. No exception to my request! The scones were hands down amazing! The chef's cakes were average and we left them after tasting them, I looked at the other tables and they'd done the same. Overall, a special venue but feels too big for the amount of customers that were actually in on the day it felt empty with not much atmosphere."

"Had a lovely Sunday lunch for 9 of us to celebrate a family birthday. The whole team were very friendly, and we were seated quickly and drinks orders taken and delivered promptly. This set the tone for the visit in terms of Service, which throughout was efficient and friendly, as well as being attentive without being overbearing; so a great job from the front of house team. The chefs in the kitchen also did a similarly great job, each dish was beautifully cooked, and the roast beef in particular was a stand out for being tender and full of flavour. What was also noticeable was that the they managed to feed 9 of us with the dishes for each course coming pretty much all at the same time; without any noticeable waits between the dishes being brought out; something a lot restaurants seem to struggle with; so a massive plus to the team. The food itself was excellent, beautifully cooked and full of flavour with plenty of choice variety, the wine list had a really good selection at reasonable prices; and the non alcoholic cocktails were excellent and imaginative and much appreciated by the drivers in our party. Would highly recommend, and we will be back again over the next few months."
